Rebecca’s Tips
People seem to love or hate Valerian, in part I think because of it’s very distinctive smell. If the smell bothers you, try taking it in orange juice or when holding your nose. Go slow at first. Try a half dropper to see how you feel and work up if needed from there - but that might be enough. My son loves valerian - loves the smell and would request a full dropper to help with sleep on occassion when he was as young as 8 or 9. He never felt groggy the next morning so I just let him go for what seemed like a big (to me) dose. Valerian is especially helpful if you have strong menstrual cramps to help you get restful sleep and be less likely to wake from the discomfort.
