How It Works
-
Ginkgo improves blood flow to the brain, helping to boost memory, mental clarity, and concentration. Its antioxidant properties protect brain cells from damage over time.
-
As a natural vasodilator, Ginkgo promotes better blood flow throughout the body, supporting brain health and overall cardiovascular function.
-
By supporting healthy brain chemistry and reducing inflammation, Ginkgo may help ease symptoms of anxiety, depression, PMS, and emotional ups and downs during perimenopause/menopause.
-
Ginkgo Biloba contains antioxidants, such as flavonoids and terpenoids, which help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body.
-
Improved circulation and antioxidant protection may also support healthy vision and protect against age-related eye concerns like glaucoma and macular degeneration.
-
For women in perimenopause, Ginkgo Biloba can be especially helpful in easing brain fog—a common symptom during this transition. By increasing blood flow to the brain and supporting cognitive function, Ginkgo may help reduce mental fatigue, improve focus, and boost memory, making it easier to stay sharp and clear-headed as hormones shift.
Rebecca’s Tips
I generally recommend 1-2 ml taken twice daily. Ginkgo is best taken with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Morning and mid-day doses work well to support cognitive function during the day.
