Clear the Fog

Ginkgo Biloba, also known as the Maidenhair tree, is a time-honored herbal ally for mental clarity, cognitive function, and emotional balance. With potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Ginkgo promotes healthy circulation to the brain, enhancing memory, focus, and overall mental sharpness. It is particularly helpful for easing perimenopausal brain fog, supporting eye health, and stabilizing mood during PMS and menopause.

Consistency is key for Ginkgo to show results, so aim to take it daily for at least 6-8 weeks to evaluate its effects.

Ginkgo pairs well with other herbs like gotu kola or rhodiola, which also support cognitive health and help with stress resilience—common needs during perimenopause.

Ingredients: Locally Foraged Ginkgo Biloba, Gluten Free Vodka

Suggested Dosage: 1-2 droppers full 1-2 times daily or as needed

Size: 2 ounces
Serving Size: 1 mL/ 20 drops/ one dropper full
Servings Per Container: 60

Precautions: Blood Thinners - Ginkgo may increase bleeding risk, so avoid it if you’re taking blood-thinning medications.

How It Works

  • Ginkgo improves blood flow to the brain, helping to boost memory, mental clarity, and concentration. Its antioxidant properties protect brain cells from damage over time.

  • As a natural vasodilator, Ginkgo promotes better blood flow throughout the body, supporting brain health and overall cardiovascular function.

  • By supporting healthy brain chemistry and reducing inflammation, Ginkgo may help ease symptoms of anxiety, depression, PMS, and emotional ups and downs during perimenopause/menopause.

  • Ginkgo Biloba contains antioxidants, such as flavonoids and terpenoids, which help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body.

  • Improved circulation and antioxidant protection may also support healthy vision and protect against age-related eye concerns like glaucoma and macular degeneration.

  • For women in perimenopause, Ginkgo Biloba can be especially helpful in easing brain fog—a common symptom during this transition. By increasing blood flow to the brain and supporting cognitive function, Ginkgo may help reduce mental fatigue, improve focus, and boost memory, making it easier to stay sharp and clear-headed as hormones shift.

Rebecca’s Tips

I generally recommend 1-2 ml taken twice daily. Ginkgo is best taken with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Morning and mid-day doses work well to support cognitive function during the day.
